Today is Monday in China, and it's the first day of Songkran in Thailand. Just as I stepped downstairs, someone handed me a basin, and I got a refreshing splash. Walking a few steps, water guns shot all over me. Thinking about it, I might as well go back upstairs and focus on writing.
Still cautiously bullish, with bearish expectations growing stronger. After a weekend of rest, the only thing currently affecting the market is the negotiations in the Middle East. The first round of talks has already failed, as I analyzed a few days ago.
If a second round of negotiations continues, the following key points should be closely watched:
2. The issue of free navigation through the Strait of Hormuz—The U.S. demands open sea zones, while Iran wants to charge fees.
3. Is Israel willing to negotiate? Will they continue to cause trouble? Do the U.S. and Iran need to hold a small meeting first?
