East China recycling volume rebounds to pre-year levels; some refineries in Central China ease raw material pressure

A recycling company in East China stated that the current recycling volume of waste lead-acid batteries has returned to pre-holiday levels, with a daily intake of 30 tons; the mainstream tax-free recycling price for waste electric vehicle batteries is 9,450 yuan per ton; based on their understanding of the Central China market, as the local smelters’ raw material shortage has been effectively alleviated, it is expected that some smelting plants will reduce their procurement volume and prices for waste lead-acid batteries next week.
