The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of North Korea states that their attitude towards South Korea will not change.
North Korea’s First Vice Foreign Minister and Director of the Tenth Bureau, Kim Jong-chol, issued a statement on the 7th saying that North Korea’s attitude toward South Korea will not change.
Kim Jong-chol stated in the conversation that Kim Yo-jong, Minister of the Workers’ Party Central Committee, made remarks about South Korea on the 6th, and the core of the statement is a clear warning.
South Korea is North Korea’s most hostile country, and this will not change regardless of what the South Korean side says or does.
South Korean President Yoon Suk-yeol expressed regret over the “drone intrusion into North Korea” incident on the morning of the 6th.
Kim Yo-jong, Minister of the Workers’ Party Central Committee, said in a statement on the evening of the 6th that Yoon Suk-yeol’s statement was a wise and fortunate move, and the South Korean side should not just say that peace and stability are above all else, but also consider their own safety, stop any adventurous provocations against North Korea, and give up any contact attempts.
