France says it has not changed its policy on U.S. military aircraft flying over its airspace and expresses "surprise" at Trump's remarks

In response to U.S. President Trump’s tweet on March 31 stating that “France does not allow military cargo planes bound for Israel to fly over its territory,” the Élysée Palace, the French presidential residence, later responded that France’s position on this issue has not changed. The Élysée Palace stated that France’s policy regarding U.S. military aircraft flying over its airspace has remained consistent since the start of this round of conflict and has not been adjusted. The Élysée Palace also expressed “surprise” at Trump’s related remarks. (CCTV News)
