From Shenchengjiao(301091), it has learned that recently, Shenchengjiaokeji Group Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as “Shenchengjiao”), led the initiative and jointly built the “Shenzhen Key Laboratory for Low-Altitude Intelligent Transportation Operation System” with Sun Yat-sen University·Shenzhen and the Shenzhen Institute of Advanced Technology, University of Electronic Science and Technology of China (Shenzhen). The laboratory has officially been approved and unveiled.

It is understood that, as the first approved key laboratory in Shenzhen’s low-altitude economy sector, the laboratory is committed to breaking through bottlenecks in operational efficiency and safety resilience of low-altitude transportation under large-scale flight conditions. It will establish an end-to-end intelligent management and safety assurance system for low-altitude flight. This is an important part of Shenchengjiao’s scientific research platform system. With “hardcore technology,” it will build an integrated air-ground intelligent transportation system focusing on low-altitude operations and autonomous driving, strengthen innovation support to help Shenzhen establish a national benchmark for low-altitude economy development, and provide support for Shenzhen to lead a new pattern in the low-altitude industry.

Technological innovation is the city’s gene in Shenzhen, and key laboratories are the “hardcore engines” of this innovation-driven city. As a core component of Shenzhen’s science and technology innovation system, Shenzhen’s key laboratories closely align with national strategic deployments and the city’s industrial needs, with the core mission of “building on foundational research, overcoming breakthroughs in applied research, and enabling value from results transformation.” They have built a multi-level innovation network covering foundational research and applied research, injecting continuous scientific and technological strength into Shenzhen’s efforts to build a modern industrial system with global competitiveness and to nurture new productive forces.

Relying on the nation’s first city-level low-altitude digital management and service platform, the Low-Altitude Laboratory is complemented by test venues such as the Pingshan air-ground integrated test field and the Dapeng New District UAV testing base, with the core goal of improving the operational efficiency and safety resilience of low-altitude transportation systems under large-scale flight conditions. It focuses on five major research directions: a full-factor digital foundation, efficient dispatching services, low-altitude conflict resolution, integrated sensing and intelligent control, and virtual-real fusion verification. It develops technical systems, core systems, and new types of equipment in areas including a digital foundation, flight regulation, and safety management, and ultimately achieves intelligent, efficient, and safe operation of low-altitude transportation systems. With “hardcore technology” supporting coordinated upgrading across the entire low-altitude industry chain, it provides solid support for Shenzhen to cultivate trillion-yuan-level low-altitude economy new productive forces.

Shenchengjiao stated that, looking to the future, the company will take the Low-Altitude Laboratory as a strategic fulcrum, continue to deepen key technologies for integrated air-ground intelligent transportation systems centered on low-altitude operations and autonomous driving, forge core capabilities, and deeply empower the high-quality development of the low-altitude economy industry nationwide. It will do its utmost to support Shenzhen in building a national benchmark for low-altitude economy development and contribute an irreplaceable “Shenzhen strength” to the grand blueprint of the national low-altitude economy strategy.
