San'an Optoelectronics and its partners have developed Micro LED light source devices with high-speed modulation capabilities; samples have been sent to international clients.

San’an Optoelectronics, in collaboration with Tsinghua University and China Mobile, has achieved significant breakthroughs in the fields of Micro LED optoelectronic devices and high-speed optical communication. Currently, they have successfully developed Micro LED light source devices with high-speed modulation capabilities. Testing shows that their 3dB modulation bandwidth is expected to exceed 7 GHz. Based on communication models, the NRZ-OOK data transmission rate is expected to surpass 10 Gb/s, providing an important technological foundation for short-distance high-speed optical interconnects and new optical communication systems.
