Institution: Hong Kong's second-hand private residential transactions recorded 4,621 cases in March, an increase of 18.1% month-on-month

According to monitoring data from Hong Kong Centaline Property, in March this year, Hong Kong’s second-hand private residential transactions totaled 4,621 cases and HKD 35.84 billion, representing an increase of 18.1% and 20.7% respectively compared to February’s 3,913 cases and HKD 29.69 billion. Data shows that in the first quarter of this year, local second-hand private residential transactions reached 12,449 cases and HKD 94.91 billion, up 13.6% and 12.4% quarter-on-quarter, the highest in nearly 18 quarters since Q3 2021’s 13,084 cases, and the highest in nearly 15 quarters since Q2 2022’s HKD 96.54 billion.
