On March 18th, the world’s largest electronic-grade glass fiber production line—Huai’an Zero-Carbon Glass Fiber Manufacturing Base’s 390 million meters electronic fabric production line—successfully ignited, marking a key step in the construction of the world’s first zero-carbon intelligent manufacturing base for the glass fiber industry.
This ignited electronic-grade glass fiber production line has an annual capacity of 390 million meters, accounting for 9% of the global market.
The project integrates cutting-edge technologies independently developed in China, including high-performance glass formulas, ultra-large energy-saving tank kilns, and pure oxygen combustion, with fully independent intellectual property rights.
The produced electronic-grade glass fibers and electronic fabrics can be applied in new energy vehicles, photovoltaic industries, low-altitude economy, and other fields, further enhancing China’s autonomous supply capacity for high-end electronic basic materials, and providing foundational raw materials support for the development of AI servers, high-performance chips, high-frequency communications, and other electronic information industries.
