The Ministry of Industry and Information Technology issues the "Measures for the Management of Industrial Product Quality Control and Technical Evaluation Laboratory (Revised)"
The Ministry of Industry and Information Technology issued the Administrative Measures for the Management of Industrial Product Quality Control and Technical Evaluation Laboratories (Revised). The Administrative Measures make it clear that the laboratory’s main tasks are to focus on promoting the development of new product categories, improving quality, and creating brands; to provide high-level quality technical services to enterprises; to carry out breakthroughs in key, common quality technologies for the benefit of the industry; to promote advanced quality technical methods; to cultivate excellent quality talent; and to strengthen exchanges and cooperation in quality technology. For the government, the laboratory provides decision-making support and technical support for quality management work. It provides quality technical support to enhance the industrial foundation, and to help accelerate the construction of a strong manufacturing country and a strong network country. The Administrative Measures include six chapters and 28 articles: General Provisions, Responsibilities, Accreditation, Operation, Management, and Supplementary Provisions. They shall enter into force on May 1. (MIIT)
