Recently, I needed to register on overseas websites and discovered that SMS verification platforms are truly amazing. No need to buy new SIM cards; just use virtual numbers to receive verification codes, which is much more convenient. I’ve tried several before—some took half a day to receive messages, others had huge delays—but I finally figured out the best approach.

SMS-Activate and 5SIM provide the most stable experience; verification codes usually arrive within 10 seconds, and they cover many countries. If you're mainly testing domestic applications, Super Cloud SMS and Little Bird Verification are sufficient, and they also support US number ranges with good speed. Getsmscode is cheaper, but it might be slow for less common applications.

The most important thing when choosing a verification platform is stability—don’t just go for the cheapest option. It’s recommended to buy several numbers as backups so you can switch quickly if one becomes invalid, preventing registration failures. Some platforms even support one-click number switching, which is really practical. Also, be aware that some numbers are shared, increasing the risk of being blocked due to risk control measures; switching to a different number range usually solves this.

Honestly, these platforms are best for temporary use. Don’t rely on them as your main number for long-term use, as privacy and security are not guaranteed. For API testing, any platform that supports API integration will do, but if you want stable registration on a specific website, it’s worth spending more time choosing the right platform. Have you used any verification platforms before? Which one do you think is the most reliable?
