You don’t have to care how many people around you have watched Pokémon. I’m just asking, who has watched Hello Kitty? This thing is so well-known, who actually watches videos about it?


But it’s associated with cuteness, girls, and young women—no matter the gender or age, when people see Hello Kitty, they think girl, cute, and girl’s stuff.
The IP has been so successfully built that it must be making a ton of money, but what does that have to do with us? We’re just consumers. Pokémon is a different story.
