Trump: If U.S.-Iran negotiations do not go smoothly, the U.S. will be able to easily resume military action against Iran
U.S. President Trump said on April 8 that if U.S.-Iran negotiations do not go smoothly, the U.S. will be able to easily resume military action against Iran.
That day, Trump said in an interview with UK Sky News that the two-week U.S.-Iran ceasefire “is very good.” “All military targets in Iran have been achieved. We have already done everything we wanted to do militarily, and the U.S. has achieved a complete victory militarily.”
When a reporter asked about the 10 ceasefire terms proposed by Iran that were impossible for the U.S. side to accept, Trump said, “You don’t know what those specific terms are. I know. Many of those terms are very good, and most have been completed in the negotiations.”
A few hours earlier, Trump posted on social media saying that the U.S. received Iran’s proposed 10 ceasefire terms and believes the proposal can serve as a viable basis for carrying out negotiations.
Meanwhile, on April 8, the Secretariat of Iran’s Supreme National Security Council issued a statement saying that the war launched by the enemy against Iran failed and Iran was forced to accept Iran’s proposed 10 ceasefire terms, and that Iran had achieved a great victory.
Iran issues statement on the 100th round of action strategy
On April 8, local time, the Public Relations Department of Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps issued a statement saying that during the 100th round offensive of Operation “True Promise-4,” the aerospace force launched fierce attacks on 25 strategic targets of the enemy, including 13 energy complexes and oil pipelines related to the United States and Israel, 10 military, security, and logistics targets, as well as several technical and infrastructure targets along the enemy’s routes of advance, dealing a heavy blow to the enemy.
The statement noted that to commemorate the late Supreme Leader Seyyed Ali Khamenei, the aerospace force carried out fierce artillery strikes against U.S. and Israeli targets. The operation aims to warn the enemy: attacking the infrastructure of the Iranian people will inevitably come with a painful price.
The statement emphasized that the Guardians of the Iranian Nation are closely watching the orders of Supreme Leader Mojtaba Khamenei, ready to take up arms at any time. The Revolutionary Guard Corps has accumulated extensive experience in two wars against the U.S. and Israel’s joint fronts. If the enemy misjudges again, it will surely face even heavier blows.
The statement also said that America’s allies in the region have witnessed the incompetence of both the U.S. and Israel and should draw lessons from it and stop cooperating with Islamic enemies. The Revolutionary Guard Corps said the enemy has always been crafty and Iran does not trust any of its promises; Iran will respond to any act of aggression with stronger and tougher force.
The statement did not specify the time of the launch of the 100th round offensive.

Subsequently, a message was released by the Secretariat of Iran’s Supreme National Security Council saying that Iran will hold a two-week political dialogue with the United States in Tehran.
