The registered company plans to issue the world's largest digital bond.

Foreign media, citing insiders, reports that the Hong Kong Mortgage Corporation is considering raising up to 12 billion Hong Kong dollars through the issuance of digital bonds, which could become the largest issuance of its kind in the world to date.

The insiders said the company is considering marketing a multi-tranche bond offering denominated in Hong Kong dollars and offshore renminbi as early as next month. The size of this issuance is expected to be between 10 billion and 12 billion Hong Kong dollars. They added that the specific terms are still being discussed and may change.
