Broadcom announced that its Tomahawk 6 series switch chips have entered mass production and shipping. For chips of this scale, the speed at which Tomahawk 6 has progressed from initial sampling to full-scale mass production deployment is truly unprecedented. The Tomahawk 6 series of switches helps Artificial Intelligence (AI) networks achieve outstanding horizontal scaling (Scale-Out) and vertical scaling (Scale-Up) performance.
