Iranian Revolutionary Guard claims to have attacked the U.S. Fifth Fleet base

Iran’s IRNA reported on December 12 that Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps announced the same day that the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps Navy launched a fierce attack on the U.S. Navy’s Fifth Fleet base located in Bahrain. According to a statement issued by the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps, the Guard Corps Navy carried out its actions in two rounds that morning, launching a fierce strike with missiles and drones against the U.S. Navy’s Fifth Fleet base stationed at Salman Port in Bahrain. The base’s anti-drone systems, unmanned surface vessel center, logistics equipment center, fuel storage facilities, and the area where U.S. soldiers were gathered were all subjected to “precise strikes.” (Xinhua)
