ChainCatcher message: Bloomberg senior ETF analyst Eric Balchunas said Musk will most likely use SPCX as the ticker symbol for the SpaceX IPO. The ticker symbol was previously held by Matt Tuttle, but the relevant ETF has since changed its code.

Eric Balchunas noted that Bloomberg’s ETF team had already predicted this in a report from last December. The discovery of the ticker symbol “SPCX” for this SpaceX IPO was proposed by Roundhill Investments co-founder Will Hershey, who previously “gave the META code” to Mark Zuckerberg, calling it “a tacit understanding between peers.”
