Israeli officials say Iran's ceasefire agreement will include Lebanon

People’s Finance and News, April 8—On April 8 local time, a reporter learned that Israeli senior security officials said a ceasefire agreement regarding Iran would cover Lebanon. On the evening of April 7, U.S. President Trump posted on social media that after a phone call with Pakistan, he agreed to pause the bombing and attacks on Iran for two weeks, provided that Iran agrees to “fully, immediately, and safely” open the Strait of Hormuz. On April 8, the Secretariat of the Supreme National Security Council of Iran issued a statement saying that Iran will hold a two-week round of political talks with the United States in Islamabad, the capital of Pakistan, “to confirm the victory achievements made on the ground in combat.” (CCTV News)
