The three major A-share stock indices all rose collectively, with the petrochemical sector surging. Consumer electronics and memory stocks rallied, while pharmaceutical stocks pulled back.
A-share memory concept stocks continue to surge higher. Earlier, Samsung Electronics said that the contracted price of DRAM in Q2 will rise again by 30% quarter-on-quarter.

In news, after Samsung Electronics raised DRAM contract prices by 100% in this year’s Q1, the DRAM contract price in Q2 will rise again by 30% quarter-on-quarter. Samsung Electronics has confirmed that by the end of March it completed price negotiations with major customers and signed supply contracts. The 30% increase in DRAM contract prices encompasses HBM required for AI chips, as well as general-purpose DRAM needed for PCs and smart phones.
