In April 2010, on a Bitcoin forum, a user auctioned 10,000 BTC on the forum. The starting bid was $50.

The only condition was that each bid had to be at least $1 higher than the previous one.
In the end, it failed to sell, and today it’s worth about $700 million. In just the past month, the famous Bitcoin pizza 🍕 event happened.
