As of 9:00 PM tonight, over 610k Hong Kong residents have entered the border.

On the final day of the long Easter and Qingming Festival holidays in Hong Kong, the Immigration Department said that as of 9:00 pm tonight, there were more than 996k passenger movements in and out of the territory. Of these, inbound visitors were nearly 690k, while outbound visitors exceeded 307k.

For inbound travel, most were Hong Kong residents returning to the city, with more than 610k passenger movements. The largest number of Hong Kong residents returned via the Lo Wu Port.
