Insider: JPMorgan Chase's skyscraper construction at Canary Wharf approved by the airport

An insider says that after negotiations with London City Airport, JPMorgan Chase has been granted permission to build a new 265-meter skyscraper at Canary Wharf.

JPMorgan Chase and airport officials reached an agreement in February.

Canary Wharf is about three miles west of London City Airport.

JPMorgan Chase’s new UK headquarters building will replace One Canada Square, becoming the tallest building in Canary Wharf.
