Make preventive preparations in advance
To work
On the way back, what safety risks should you pay attention to
The pigeons have already prepared it for you
Safety first on the way back!
Be sure to pay attention to the following points
01
Check vehicle condition
In advance, carry out a safety inspection of the vehicle to see whether the vehicle’s power and brakes, fuel level, tires, lights, horn, and windshield wipers can work properly. If you find anything abnormal, be sure to get it repaired in a timely manner. Do not drive “a sick vehicle” onto the road.
02
Do not exceed the speed limit
“Ten accidents, nine are caused by speed.” Speeding is the greatest enemy of safe driving. When driving too fast, the driver’s reaction ability and judgment will decline, and the vehicle’s handling stability will be poor.
03
Do not drive while fatigued
Fatigued driving reduces judgment, slows reactions, and increases the likelihood of operational mistakes. On the day before you drive, make sure you get enough sleep, scientifically plan your driving schedule, and try to avoid driving at night—especially in the early-morning hours. During the day, also be sure to avoid the after-noon period, and remember to balance work and rest.
04
Do not drive under the influence of alcohol
When going out by car, always remember: don’t drink and drive, and never drive if you’ve been drinking. Also, never drive the next day after a night of heavy drinking, which can leave safety hazards in your travel. Drunk driving harms others and oneself, and you must also bear corresponding legal responsibilities and property losses.
05
Do not drive distracted
Drinking water, eating, smoking, chatting, handling items, picking up and making phone calls, and even looking at navigation all count as distracted driving. Life safety does not allow even the slightest negligence. Distracted driving causes the driver’s attention to be dispersed and reactions to lag; for the vehicle, it easily leads to loss of control. Therefore, please do not drive distracted.
06
Buckle up your seat belt
A seat belt is a lifeline! While reminding all drivers to buckle up, also remind passengers to buckle their seat belts; choose child safety seats suitable for their age, height, and weight for children.
07
Remember what to do in case of an accident
If you encounter a traffic accident or the vehicle develops a malfunction, remember: “Pull over the vehicle, move people to safety, and report immediately,” to avoid secondary accidents. For minor traffic accidents that have “no injuries to people and the vehicle can still move,” you should promptly and quickly move yourself away.
08
Passenger travel and return trips
If you choose highway passenger transport, go to a regular passenger terminal to board vehicles with legitimate operating qualifications. Do not intercept vehicles outside the station or beside the expressway to board. Refuse to ride illegal or overcapacity vehicles.
Warm reminder to all drivers: when driving back, you should check the weather conditions, traffic conditions, and the vehicle’s safety status in advance, and reasonably arrange your route and departure/return time. Strictly comply with traffic safety laws and regulations. When encountering bad weather such as rain or fog, make sure to “slow down, control distance, and turn on the tail lights.” Drive safely and cautiously.
