People’s Finance News, April 7—Recently, Honda Motor (China) Investment Co., Ltd. authorized and commissioned Honda Motorcycles Sales (Shanghai) Co., Ltd. to file a recall plan with the State Administration for Market Regulation in accordance with the “Regulations on the Administration of Recall of Defective Automobile Products” and the “Implementation Measures for the Regulations on the Administration of Recall of Defective Automobile Products.” Effective June 10, 2026, a recall will be conducted for certain imported 2022 and 2024 model CM500 motorcycles produced between December 12, 2022 and November 11, 2024, totaling 1,536 units. For some vehicles within the scope of this recall, due to inadequate tightening of the screws that secure the steering lock in a fixed position, the screws may loosen during vehicle operation, become caught in the steering-related component, and cause the driver to be unable to operate the steering handle and crash, or for the steering lock to detach, posing danger to other road users and creating safety hazards.
