Large-scale Saudi petrochemical industrial facilities reportedly hit by widespread attacks

In the early hours of the 7th local time, Iran cited unnamed sources, saying that an explosion occurred that day at the Jubail industrial zone in the northeast of Saudi Arabia, where American capital is involved, and that it was caused by a large-scale strike. In a statement released on the 7th, the Saudi Ministry of Defense said that Saudi Arabia intercepted and destroyed seven ballistic missiles launched toward the eastern part of the country. Some fragments fell near energy facilities, and it is currently assessing the losses. The statement did not mention the party that launched the missiles. (CCTV News)
