OpenAI Calls for Investigation into Musk, Claiming His Actions Hinder AGI Development and Are Suspected of Unfair Competition

As a highly anticipated trial between the two sides draws near, OpenAI, in a letter dated this week, urged the attorneys general of California and Delaware to investigate Elon Musk and his affiliates for “improper and anti-competitive conduct.” In the letter, Jason Qu, OpenAI’s chief strategy officer, alleges that Musk intentionally undermined OpenAI through a series of “attack actions” targeting the company, including “coordinated action” with Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg.
