Baoding City Launches Level II Emergency Response Measures for Heavy Pollution Weather

Based on the joint consultation between the Provincial Emergency Response Center for Ecological Environment and Heavy Pollution Weather Warnings, the China National Environmental Monitoring Center, the Provincial Meteorological Disaster Prevention and Environmental Meteorology Center, it is expected that from March 1 to 4 and around March 6 to 10, the surface pressure field in Baoding will weaken, gradually shifting to influence by southeast winds. Overall humidity will increase, and atmospheric dispersion conditions will deteriorate. During this period, influenced by wind convergence, two moderate pollution episodes will occur. To reduce the impact of pollution weather on public health, the municipal government approved the activation of a Level II heavy pollution weather emergency response at 18:00 on March 1.
