Over 1,700 stocks are below their closing prices on September 24, 2024. The data isn't perfectly accurate mainly due to incomplete databases, but the general ranges shouldn't be too far off. It's important to note that the index on September 24, 2024, was over 2,800 points. In other words, the current index still looks above 3,800 points, and half of the individual stocks have already fallen below the prices on April 7, 2025, when over 3,600 stocks hit their daily limit down. More than one-third of the stocks are now trading below their prices from over two years ago when the index was above 2,800 points.
