Bahrain sounds air raid sirens
In the afternoon of February 28 local time, Bahrain sounded its air-raid sirens. The U.S. Embassy in Bahrain urged American citizens in the area to take shelter in place, saying there is a missile and drone threat in the airspace over Bahrain. The Bahrain Ministry of Interior issued a notice, instructing the public to go to nearby safe locations as soon as possible. There is a U.S. military base within Bahrain’s territory.
