Just saw that Spar Group brought in Reeza Isaacs as their new CEO - she was their CFO before this. Apparently the previous CEO Angelo Swartz stepped down, and now they're looking to shake things up at South Africa's second-biggest grocery chain by revenue. Interesting move bringing someone from finance into the top role. Wonder if Reeza Isaacs has a different strategy in mind for where they're heading next. These internal promotions can go either way - sometimes fresh perspective from someone who knows the business inside out works really well. Curious to see how this plays out for them over the next year or so.
