Iranian military claims to have carried out drone strikes against Israeli and U.S. military targets in Kuwait
Mars Finance News. On April 5, local time on the 5th, the Armed Forces of the Islamic Republic of Iran issued Announcement No. 56. The announcement shows that, after the air defense system had previously successfully intercepted enemy aircraft, Iranian forces launched decisive military action at dawn that day in response to the “crimes” of the United States and Israel. According to the text of the communiqué, Iranian forces deployed a drone swarm and precisely struck Israel’s “petrochemical industrial facilities and oil product storage depots” located near Dimona. It is reported that the underground emergency fuel reserves in that area have important strategic significance for Israel’s energy supply in the southern part of the country. At the same time, Iranian drones also attacked the equipment warehouse, the satellite communications unit, and the U.S. military command headquarters at the U.S. base on Bubyan Island in Kuwait. The communiqué states that the base, as a core node in the region for the U.S. Central Command, has recently been tasked with a large number of communications interception and battle management missions, and has deployed offensive weapons such as the “HIMARS” multiple rocket launcher.
