Defense Minister: If attacks on Israel continue, Iran will pay a heavy price

People’s Finance News, April 5—Local time on April 5, Israel’s Defense Minister Katz said, after completing a situation assessment, that Iran’s petrochemical industry provides funding for the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps and helps it produce missiles. He said that as long as attacks targeting Israel continue, Iran must inevitably pay a “heavy price,” and its national infrastructure will be “weakened and destroyed.” Regarding U.S. President Trump’s statement that a second crew member on the F-15E fighter aircraft that was shot down over Iran was rescued, Katz said this once again shows the close cooperation between Israel and the United States. Previously, Israeli defense officials told the media that this search-and-rescue operation was supported by intelligence from Israel. Another official said that during the search and rescue, the Israel Air Force delayed airstrike operations against the relevant areas. (CCTV News)
