Oracle releases Java 26 (Oracle JDK 26), bringing thousands of improvements

IT Home reports on March 18 that Oracle, the Oracle company in the United States, announced on the 17th local time that it is releasing the latest version of the Java programming language—Java 26 (Oracle JDK 26). The new version brings thousands of improvements, not only boosting developers’ productivity and simplifying the language, but also helping developers integrate AI and encryption capabilities into their applications.

Oracle also announced the launch of a brand-new JVP (IT Home note: Java validation product portfolio), providing developers with a range of codebases officially supported by Oracle, including the JavaFX UI framework and the Helidon Java framework for microservices.
