I was sharing an apartment with a beautiful 22-year-old woman. One late night, my wife returned to her parents' house.

Around 3 a.m., she knocked on my door, wearing only a thin nightgown. After some thought, I decided to let her in.
Her eyes looked a bit dazed, as if she was slightly drunk. I smelled a faint alcohol scent on her, which made me a little worried.
I asked her what was wrong, and she said she went out drinking with friends, but her friend drank too much, so she had to come back alone.
I told her to take a shower first, then poured her a glass of water for her to drink.
I told her she could rest in my room and that she could go back to her own room once she was sober.
I found her a piece of clothing to wear, covered her with a blanket, and let her lie down to rest.
I sat by the bed, gently patting her back to comfort her, and told her not to worry, that I would always be there to take care of her.
She gradually fell asleep. I quietly got up, closed the door, and returned to my own room.
The next morning, I went to check on her and found she was already awake, with a grateful smile on her face.
I asked how she was feeling, and she said she felt much better, thanking me for taking care of her.
I told her it was my duty, and as roommates, we should look out for and care for each other.
This experience made me realize that, as a man, we should always protect women’s safety and dignity, especially when they need help.
At the same time, we should respect women’s choices and decisions, and avoid doing anything that makes them uncomfortable or unsafe.
