【Caixin Global】 XPeng Motors’ in-house “Turing” chip has seen its application scope further expand. Late on April 2, XPeng Motors (NYSE: XPEV / 09868.HK) rolled out a revised model of its mass-market product MONA M03. In particular, for the mid- and high-spec versions equipped with intelligent driver-assistance capabilities, the computing-power chips have all switched from NVIDIA’s solutions to the company’s own in-house design.

MONA M03 was released in August 2024, targeting the 110,000 to 150,000 yuan price range. After the model was launched, it received strong feedback, and it has also been the biggest “contributor” helping XPeng Motors pull out of the slump it started to fall into from the second half of that year. In October 2025, the company disclosed that 14 months after M03 went on sale, cumulative sales had exceeded 200,000 units.
