People’s Finance News, April 5—Local time on April 5 in the morning, the Israel Defense Forces announced that it had begun a new round of airstrikes on Hezbollah infrastructure within Beirut, the capital of Lebanon. According to information from the Lebanese side, on that day Israeli warplanes carried out at least four airstrikes on multiple locations in the southern suburbs of Beirut, including one targeting a building in the Jeneh area that had been hit in March. The airstrikes severely damaged buildings in the target area and sent up thick smoke, and ambulances had already arrived at the scene. The southern Beirut area had previously been hit by Israeli airstrikes multiple times. It is reported that an Israeli airstrike on the Jeneh area resulted in 1 death and about 20 people injured. In addition, according to a report published by Lebanon’s Ministry of Public Health on the 5th, from the evening of the 4th to the early hours of the 5th, Israel launched airstrikes on southern Lebanon and the eastern Bekaa Valley, causing at least 14 deaths and many more injuries.
