According to monitoring of market prices of 50 key production-material products across 9 categories in the national circulation field, in late March 2026 compared with mid-March, prices of 31 products rose, those of 16 products fell, and those of 3 products remained unchanged.

1. Definitions of Indicators

Market prices of key production materials in the circulation field refer to the wholesale and retail prices of key production-material operating enterprises. Unlike ex-factory prices, market prices of production materials include not only ex-factory prices, but also circulation costs, profits, taxes, and fees of operating enterprises. Ex-factory prices and market prices influence each other, there is a time lag, and within a certain period their movement trends may not be completely consistent.

2. Monitoring Scope

The market price monitoring of key production materials in the circulation field covers the prices of 50 products in 9 categories. For details on categories and product specifications, see the appendix.

3. Monitoring Area

The monitoring area covers more than 2,000 operating enterprises—including wholesalers, agents, and distributors—in over 300 trading markets across 31 provinces (autonomous regions, municipalities) nationwide.

4. Monitoring Method

Price monitoring methods include price collection by information officers on-site, as well as inquiry by telephone, instant messaging tools, and email.

5. Statistics on Number of Price Changes

The number of products whose prices increased, decreased, or remained unchanged is calculated and reported based on the price change percentage (%).
