On the 4th, local time, Jordan’s Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates, Safadi, met with the visiting Syrian Transitional Government’s Foreign Minister, Shibani. The two sides discussed strengthening the bilateral relations between the two countries and other issues. During the talks, both sides condemned Israel’s repeated attacks and military actions against Syria, stressing that the crisis should be resolved through diplomatic means and that the sovereignty, security, and stability of all countries should be maintained.
