Bank of China, Industrial and Commercial Bank of China, China Construction Bank, China Minsheng Bank, issue risk warnings

In recent days, precious metals prices have fluctuated sharply. Many banks, including Industrial and Commercial Bank of China, Bank of China, China Construction Bank, and China Minsheng Bank, have released risk-warning announcements regarding the precious metals market.

The announcement states that recent fluctuations in precious metals prices at home and abroad have further intensified. It advises customers to enhance their risk-prevention awareness, make rational investments based on their own financial situation and risk tolerance, and reasonably control their positions.

Industrial and Commercial Bank of China: It advises investors to stay calm and adopt a rational investment mindset, fully assess their own risk tolerance, and avoid blindly chasing prices up or selling in panic driven by short-term market sentiment. From the perspective of long-term asset allocation, it suggests that investors follow the principles of “controlling the total amount, entering in batches, and taking a diversified approach,” smooth out the risk of period-by-period volatility by extending the investment horizon, and build a more stable asset portfolio.

Bank of China: It advises investors to做好 market risk prevention, conduct rational investment based on their own financial situation and risk tolerance, and reasonably control their precious metals positions. It also says that long-term investment can reduce the impact of short-term price fluctuations and help prevent the risk of capital losses caused by market volatility.

China Construction Bank: It advises investors to enhance their risk-prevention awareness for precious metals business. Based on their own financial situation and risk tolerance, it recommends making rational and prudent investments, with balanced and appropriate allocation to precious metals, and reasonably controlling their positions. It also warns to avoid blindly following trends or taking impulsive actions. At the same time, please promptly monitor your holdings and changes in the margin balance to guard against risks in the precious metals market.

China Minsheng Bank: It suggests that investors pay attention to market risks, improve their risk-prevention awareness, and reasonably control their positions based on their financial situation and risk tolerance, and invest rationally.

Tian Lihui, a professor of finance at Nankai University, analyzes that the current volatility in the precious metals market has gone beyond the scope of a normal pullback, entering an abnormal stage of high intensity and high uncertainty. Ordinary investors are better suited to make long-term allocations through unleveraged methods such as accumulating gold and gold ETFs.
