In the first quarter of this year, a total of 47 new international air cargo routes were opened nationwide.
People’s Finance News, April 3—The reporter learned today from the Air Logistics Branch of the China Federation of Logistics and Purchasing that in March, across the country, 18 new international air cargo routes were launched, adding more than 50 round-trip flights per week. As of March 31, a total of 47 international air cargo routes have been newly launched nationwide in 2026, adding more than 118 round-trip flights per week. In terms of the route direction structure of newly launched routes, they are mainly Asia routes and Europe routes, with 19 and 18 routes respectively. In addition, there are 8 routes to North America, 1 route to South America, and 1 route to Africa. In terms of cargo structure, the main categories include cross-border e-commerce cargo, cargo for high-end manufacturing industries, high-value-added cargo, electronic products, auto parts, mechanical equipment, fresh goods, specialty agricultural products, biological and pharmaceutical products, apparel, and more.
