People's Financial News, April 3 — According to the China Federation of Logistics & Purchasing Air Logistics Branch, in March, the country opened a total of 18 new international air freight routes, adding over 50 round-trip flights weekly. As of March 31, 2026, a total of 47 new international air freight routes have been launched nationwide, with more than 118 additional round-trip flights per week. The new routes mainly focus on Asia and Europe, with 19 and 18 routes respectively. Additionally, there are 8 routes to North America, 1 to South America, and 1 to Africa. In terms of cargo composition, the main types include cross-border e-commerce goods, high-end manufacturing products, high-value-added goods, electronics, auto parts, machinery and equipment, fresh produce, specialty agricultural products, biomedicine, and clothing.
