Iran Allows Essential Goods Vessels to Transit Hormuz Strait to Iranian Ports

On April 4, the Iranian news agency Tasnim reported on Saturday, citing a letter, that Iran has authorized vessels carrying essential goods to pass through the Hormuz Strait to Iranian ports. The letter indicated that vessels heading to Iranian ports, including those currently in the Gulf of Oman, must coordinate with authorities and comply with established transit agreements to pass through the strait.
