According to a report by Le Parisien, cited by Bloomberg, Goldman Sachs’ Paris headquarters was placed under police surveillance on Wednesday night, after what was believed to be a bomb threat issued by an Iranian group.

The report quoted a Goldman spokesperson as declining to comment on the matter. Paris police officials did not immediately respond to a request for comment.

According to the French daily, U.S. authorities have contacted the firm and advised it to remain vigilant. A source familiar with the matter told Le Parisien that an Iranian group threatened to attack the office building using an explosive device.

The report said that Paris prosecutors stated that no suspicious items were found at the scene on Thursday morning.

Just a few days earlier, French authorities thwarted an attempted bomb attack targeting a location near Bank of America’s Paris office. French authorities have charged and detained one adult and three minors aged 16 to 17 in connection with the incident.
