Futures Market Review: U.S.-Iran Tensions Escalate in the Strait of Hormuz! Crude Oil Surges, Chemical Prices Soar

Futures closing report: As of the close, commodity prices were mostly up, with energy and chemical sectors leading the futures market. P-Xylene hit the 13% daily limit up, low-sulfur fuel oil rose more than 14%, SC crude oil rose more than 11%, PTA and bottle-grade flakes rose more than 10%, fuel oil rose more than 9%, and short fiber rose more than 7%.
