South Africa's new policy extends visa grace periods, which will boost the tourism market

People’s Finance Network, April 4 — South Africa’s Department of Home Affairs recently announced that it will significantly extend the visa waiver policy that is set to expire in 2026 to June 30, 2027. During the visa processing period, visa applicants may legally stay in the country and freely enter and exit. Industry insiders believe that implementing this policy will further stimulate South Africa’s tourism market, and the South African government will also take a number of measures to unlock the tourism market’s potential.
