I just looked at the statistics and realized how huge the population of Pakistan actually is. 254 million people — that's more than all of Russia and Europe combined. It’s the fifth most populous country in the world, just so you know.



An interesting point: Pakistan’s population is growing quite rapidly, about 1.57% per year. By mid-year, it could reach 255 million. And what’s surprising is that it’s a very young country, with an average age of just 20.6 years. For comparison, in developed countries, people are much older.

Honestly, Pakistan’s population is both a huge market and a demographic challenge at the same time. These numbers make you think about how the country is managing its infrastructure and resources.
