The United States, as part of an investigation into the activities of the Federal Reserve System and its Chair Jerome Powell, has adopted an important court ruling. A federal court in Washington has finally rejected the Department of Justice’s attempt to revive jury summonses against the Fed.



In his decision today, Federal District Judge James Boasberg said the government’s justifications for reconsidering the prior ruling are “far from convincing.” Previously, the court rejected two subpoenas sent to the Board of Governors of the Federal Reserve System, demanding documents related to the nearly $2.5 billion headquarters reconstruction project.#GateSquareAprilPostingChallenge
