Changhong Energy: Plans to invest 999 million yuan to build a lithium battery manufacturing plant in Malaysia

Changhong Energy announced that its controlling subsidiary, Changhong Sanjie, plans to establish a new company in Malaysia to invest in and build a high-rate lithium battery production base. The project’s total investment is about 999 million yuan. The construction period is 1.5 years. After reaching full production, it will form a production capacity of 85 million units each of 18650 and 21700 series battery cells, totaling 170 million units.
