Abstract generation in progress

April 3, 2026, Friday.

Last night, “Dōng Wáng” didn’t release any news to ease the situation before the U.S. stock market opened like he usually does. I guess the U.S. market is also preparing for a holiday, so “Dōng Wáng” seemed a bit indifferent.

For yesterday’s China Merchants Nan Oil—sure, it hit the limit-up and then got rejected, but last night crude oil futures performed well. So today is basically about repairing expectations: the stock opened red in the opening auction, then surged right after the open, turning a loss into a profit and taking the gains off the table.

But overall, the market just felt dead. The part that looked relatively strong in the opening auction was mostly finance-related. As for the news, based on my understanding there were two things: one was a stablecoin-related item. Last night, I remember there was some news about it, but I can’t remember exactly what it was. The other was that Iran said the transit toll would be settled in RMB; CNPC Capital went straight for a one-word limit-up and hit the trading halt limit. In the opening auction, I saw them favoring COFCO Capital and Hailian Jinhui, but after the open, the broad financial sector weakened. When CNPC Capital got knocked off the limit, I stopped looking. I don’t know what’s wrong with this market—this kind of news has existed for a long time. Do they really have to wait until the media hypes it before it “ferments”?

After that, AI hardware moved higher. To be honest, today’s strength in hardware was a bit beyond my expectations, because it was completely going against the index. It was really difficult (mainly because trading volume was shrinking + many hardware stocks have pretty large turnover amounts + the index kept selling off). So the unexpected strength in AI hardware made me feel a bit bullish—kinda like a live investor who’s been stuck in a bad market for far too long.

I picked Tongyu Communications, Core-Tech, Sichuan Chuan Technology, FiberHome, HuiLv Ecology, Shijia Technology, Datong Tian Tong, FiberHome Technologies, and Tongyu Communications again. Tongyu Communications surged to the limit first, and then there were a few waves where it failed to hold the limit-up but managed to come back. This stock performed pretty well today, but I can’t tell whether it’s driven by commercial aerospace or by an independent move (SPACEX cooperation).
It’s still following today’s hardware optical modules on the chart. The main reason is that the market wasn’t good today, so I stayed steady and didn’t chase.

After that, in the afternoon, Shijia Technology had the idea to surge for a board. To be honest, I already planned to take a break, because with the index slicing down like that, none of the stocks in my watchlist had any real expectations of attempting a board. But since Shijia had this idea, I still supported it and went in directly on Shijia Technology.

The index situation right now is completely impossible for me to make sense of. Anyway, I just follow the storyline—it’s like walking a dog.

Enjoy the holidays and get a good rest. I’ll take another look next week!
