Just saw that Diana Sorfleet is stepping down from her CAO role at CSX after nearly 15 years. Pretty significant move considering she worked through like four different CEOs and basically shaped the company's entire culture and HR strategy. CEO Steve Angel gave her props for consistently championing their values, which sounds like she really left her mark.

Interesting timing - they're bringing in Riz Chand as the new Chief Human Resources Officer. Guy's got serious pedigree, came from AEA Investors where he was Chief Talent Officer, and before that had senior HR gigs at BNSF, Energy Future Holdings, Kennametal, Mary Kay, and Aetna International. Looks like CSX is going after someone with deep expertise in talent management and org development.

Chand's going to handle all the big people stuff - HR, Total Rewards, People Systems, the whole occupational health compliance side. Angel mentioned wanting to build a high-performing culture that drives growth, so they're clearly betting on this transition to take things to the next level. Sorfleet's got her future endeavors ahead, and CSX is moving forward with fresh leadership in the talent space. Wonder how this reshapes things internally.
