Production is planned to start by the end of 2026, with a long-term production capacity of 1 million units.

Tesla officially announced in February this year that the third-generation Tesla humanoid robot is about to make its appearance. It is expected to reach annual production of one million units. It is Tesla’s first humanoid robot to move toward mass production.

Following earlier reports, Tesla’s humanoid robot (Optimus) pilot production line has already begun operating at the Fremont factory, and the production line for the third-generation humanoid robot, which will be larger in scale, is scheduled to be built, completed, and put into production in 2026.
