Chengdu Bank: Approves President Xu Dengyi to concurrently serve as Chief Compliance Officer

April 2, Chengdu Bank issued an announcement stating that its board of directors reviewed and approved the “Proposal on Appointing the Chief Compliance Officer of Chengdu Bank Co., Ltd.” The board agreed that the president, Xu Dengyi, would concurrently serve as the company’s chief compliance officer. His term takes effect from the date the board approves the appointment, and will continue until the expiration of the eighth session of the board of directors.

Xu Dengyi’s Resume

Xu Dengyi, male, born in 1968, graduated from Southwestern University of Finance and Economics with a master’s degree in Business Administration, and holds a Master’s degree in Business Administration and is a certified accountant. He currently serves as the Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of Chengdu Bank, Vice Chairman of the Board, and President, and also serves as a member of the tenth session of the Council of the Sichuan Banking Association and a Standing Committee member of the fifth session of the Working Committee for Urban Commercial Banks of the China Banking Association. He has previously served as Deputy Division Director of the Accounting Section, Finance and Accounting Department, Chengdu Branch of the China Construction Bank; Deputy President of the First Sub-branch (secondment for practical training); Deputy Division Director of the Accounting Department; Deputy Manager of the Accounting Department of the Business Department, Sichuan Branch of the China Construction Bank; member of the Party General Branch Committee and Deputy President (secondment for practical training) of the First Branch of Chengdu, China Construction Bank; Deputy General Manager of the Accounting and Settlement Department, Sichuan Branch of the China Construction Bank; Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, Deputy President (in charge of work), Party Secretary, and President of the Luzhou Branch of the China Construction Bank; General Manager of the Finance and Accounting Department, General Manager of the Institutional Business Department, and Senior Deputy Manager (Professional Technical Level II), as well as concurrently serving as Deputy Secretary of the Branch Commission for Discipline Inspection and Director of the Discipline Inspection Commission Office; Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, Vice Chairman of the Board, and President of Chengdu Rural Commercial Bank.
